The German School of San Francisco is interviewing for a responsible Parent-Child-Group Instructor^* for the 2007-2008s chool year.

This qualified teacher must be nearly fluent native German speaker, and should be experienced in teaching a foreign language (ECE units are preferred).

Salaries are competitive and dependent upon education and experience.

The goal of the Parent-child-Group is to foster and gently introduce German into the lives of children between the ages 1.5 and 4 years. We provide parents with the opportunity to meet other parents who are interested in encouraging early language exposure through play and interaction with other children and adults. The language of instruction and interaction is German.

The school year consists of 31 weeks of instruction running from September through June. Each class lasts 2 1/2 hours, from 9:30-noon, on Saturday mornings. Classes are held at Mercy High School, 3250 19th Ave, San Francisco, across from the Stonestown Galleria Mall.
