Like every year the German School of San Francisco will be performing songs at the Oktoberfest on Sunday, September 27. This year’s event will be held at Pier 48.

Children from all levels are invited to sing with us. Peter Buettner, our former president, will be leading the children with his guitar.

Your student’s participation at the Oktoberfest will benefit the school financially.  We receive $400 donation for our performance. As you know the German School has to rely heavily on financial aid to close the gap between its affordable tuition and the actual costs to run the school. Your student’s participation is highly encouraged and appreciated.

The children will be exposed to a tradition of Munich’s famed Oktoberfest, the festival will include, a flag parade, music, folk dancing, singing, and German food.

We will meet at between 11:30 and 12:00 pm next to the stage.

If you would like your student to participate in this event, please inform out office manager Volker by September 26 at the latest to receive a complimentary ticket.
